Buy Angelite – the blue anhydrite
Angelite is a trade name for light blue anhydrite, meaning anhydrous calcium sulfate. Mineralogically, it is the close relative of gypsum – with a Mohs hardness of 3 to 3.5, correspondingly soft and pressure-sensitive.
Important for care: Anhydrite absorbs water and gradually transforms into gypsum. Angelite therefore does not belong in water and is cleaned dry.
